SCHUNK Co-act EGH Cobot Gripper
Part number SCH-COACT-EGH · Collaborative
The SCHUNK Co-act EGH is an electric two finger parallel gripper designed for simple automation with collaborative robots, featuring a freely programmable 80 mm total stroke and parallel kinematics that keeps gripping force constant over the entire stroke without Z axis compensation. It is controlled via IO-Link for programmable finger prepositioning and real time condition monitoring, and it ships with a URCaps plug in for Universal Robots and Techman Robot cobots with commissioning in roughly 30 minutes. The gripper provides 50 to 100 N gripping force, a recommended force fit payload of 0.5 kg and form fit payload up to 3 kg, and an integrated LED status strip showing green, yellow, and red for safe human robot coexistence. Attachment fingers come in rigid and flexible variants with interchangeable solid and soft inserts to suit diverse workpiece geometries. Typical applications are pick and place, assembly, and machine tending in clean or mildly dirty environments such as electronics and general handling.
