The OnRobot 2FG7 is a fully electric IP67 rated two finger parallel gripper built for cobots and industrial robots working in harsh or washdown environments as well as ISO Class 5 cleanrooms. It delivers adjustable gripping force from 20 to 140 N and supports payloads up to 7 kg force fit and 11 kg form fit, with a 38 mm total stroke covering external grip widths from 1 to 73 mm and internal grip from 11 to 83 mm. Gripping speed is software adjustable from 16 to 450 mm/s with plus or minus 0.1 mm repeatability, and intelligent grip detect and lost grip detect provide cycle reliability. It needs no compressed air, runs on 20 to 25 V DC from a built in BLDC motor, and communicates with the robot controller via the OnRobot Compute Box over Ethernet or EtherNet/IP. A workpiece hold function maintains grip on power loss, and it mounts to an ISO 9409-1-50-4-M6 flange for machine tending, assembly, and precision part handling.
